I try to add an IKEA TIMMERFLOTTE sensor to my HA instance. The device was never paired as it is brand new. So I open the HomeAssistant App and add a new matter device. I scan the QR code and it seems communication is happening. Then the app says that this device needs an thead border router to work properly. The thing is: I have already set up the thread border router addon and I also installed the firmware on the sky connect stick. The otbr addon seems to work ok as I see plenty of action in the debug log and no warnings or errors that would make it not work. So the question is: What is missing? How do I get this to work?

Check to make sure you've followed step 3 of https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/thread#case-1-making-home-assistant-your-first-thread-network which is what sends the thread network information to your phone.

I tried to add an Ikea waterleakage meter and got the same. I realised I have not way of communicating with a Thread device. I.e. I ordered a Connect ZBT-2 which has a radio capable of working as a border router.
