#Dynalite: new setup uses dynet2 but only dynet1 supported by HA

Hi, I'm an experienced dev but fairly new to HA. I'm also fairly new to Dynalite having done a training course last year and self-installed it in my new home last month. My understanding was that basic Dynalite control commands such as setting an area to a particular preset was always done with dynet1 packets (ie first byte 0x1c) that the dynalite HA integration supports but I'm quite confident my antumbra buttons and sensors are sending area preset commands as dynet2 (ie 0xac) which HA doesn't understand. Right now I'm able to send control commands from HA out to dynalite devices but HA doesn't receive any state updates from the network and I'd really like to get that working so I can trigger automations from buttons/sensors around the home.

  • Anyone else running into this? I dug into the settings and didn't see any obvious way to make everything on my network use dynet1 for basic control.
  • How best to get connected to anyone maintaining this and/or helping add support for dynet2 if that is the only option moving forward? I'm willing to pitch in.
