Hello All,

First of all, I hope this post is in the right channel, I'm brand new to Discord.
I'm having trouble using custom wake words on my voice assistant (which works fine with Ok Nabu).

I installed the “openwakeword” add-on.
I placed my .tflite file in /share/openwakework (also have .onnx but not used). Made Chmod 644 on it.
It is visible when the add-on restarts. I have this in the logs: DEBUG:root:Found custom model dis_kadoc at /share/openwakeword/dis_kadoc.tflite
I installed Wyoming thanks to discovery mode.

And yet, I still don't have my wake word in my assistant. What did I forget?

that device is not using OWW, its using on device MWW. custom OWW models do not work with that.

custom wake words for MWW are a bit more tricky to create and also currently need to be manually added to the firmware of the device (there are plans to make it easier in the future).

microWakeWord, its a wakeword running on the ESP device itself.

is this something you really want/need?
in general I would recommend that leave it for now until things become a bit easier.
I can point you in the direction of some approaches to take if you really need it. but the whole thing is a bit hit and miss currently tbh.

Ok thanks, in my case it's for a WAF than an emergency. Will keep nabu and wait for some news 😉
