Trying to add IKEA Bilresa with ZBT-2, "Your device requires a Thread border router" | Home Assistant | Page 1

Hi

I'm trying to adda Bilresa to Home Assistant running on a Raspberry Pi 4. I just installed a fresh install of Home Assistant OS today on the rpi and core version 2025.12.5.

I've bought the ZBT-2 and plugged it into the rpi, I have added the "Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2" integration and it seems like it added the " OpenThread Border Router" addon as well.

I've installed the companion app and when trying to add a IKEA Bilresa button, it says that I need a Thread border router.

I have seen people mentioning you need to add credentials somewhere in the app, but the thread network just says there is nothing to import.

The logs does seem to have some warnings about lost connections and such and wondering if there is something wrong with the ZBT-2.

I have probably overlooked something somewhere?

Ahhh okay, thanks, I was looking in the wrong place (basically tried do the iPhone steps there on my Android).
