Hi all,
New-ish user to Home Assistant. I'm unable to add older iHome iSP 6 plugs into Home Assistant. They are discovered and add fine directly to HomeKit. I have been successful at adding other devices to Home Assistant and using the Homekit Bridge to add the devices to Homekit.
I've found numerous posts and followed the HomeKit Device documentation instructing to add the iSP6 smart plug to HomeKit to get it connected to the network, remove it from HomeKit, and it should be discoverable as a HomeKit Device in Home Assistant (after restarting Home Assistant to trigger a new scan). I've also tried directly adding the smart plug to the network, bypassing HomeKit set up, and this still does not yield any discovery of the HomeKit Device.
I've been able to follow these same steps with an older Vocolinc smart plug and the device is recognized as a HomeKit Device without issue in Home Assistant so I don't think its a network issue. Any pointers or does this sound like an issue to report? I didn't see any open issues existing, and I'm on the latest version(s) I believe:
