I am looking at getting 6 Govee Ceiling lights for my home office (https://a.co/d/hk5uB90)

Anyone using these with home assistant?

I'm looking to get standard functionality from them, do a few named presets to have some/all on or off at certain times/triggers as well as some colour settings that can be chosen when needed.

I expect that is all pretty standard, but I'm also hoping to be able to get power use reporting from them...

Is that possible?

For home office use, these are good with high light output. For power calculation you would need a smart relay with power measurement like Shelly or Sonoff. For integration in home assistant it's a bit ... Since they use the cloud and therefore can be laggy iirc. Better option would be zigbee protocol, but you would need a zigbee controller.

It's also depending on your country, might take a look at IKEA products (if near one or online)

seeing the ikea JETSTRÖM, wich has half the light output from the govee, so you would need 2 to compensate (can be linked together). They are rgb/white and run on zigbee. Can be controlled 100% in HA and/or the IKEA Styrbar remote control
