Only major downside is you only get alerts for the whole system, not room by room. So it will just say the detectors are going off. Not x room is going off
Thanks, unfortunately our house is old enough we have all battery, I came across X-Sense, do you have any experience with them?

they should really all be UL listed as a life safety device though
Ideally you should be using photoelectric detectors also
Ionization are usually the “cheap” smoke alarms and cause lots of false alarms
