Only major downside is you only get alerts for the whole system, not room by room. So it will just say the detectors are going off. Not x room is going off

Thanks, unfortunately our house is old enough we have all battery, I came across X-Sense, do you have any experience with them?

Ideally you should be using photoelectric detectors also

Ionization are usually the “cheap” smoke alarms and cause lots of false alarms

Carbon monoxide combos are also recommended in most bedrooms and hallways outside bedrooms if you really want to get into the nitty gritty

Yeah the X Sense i looked at is CO

They are also photoelectric. Must have been a minute since you looked at these 🙂
