I want to use the voice assistant in places where it might be a little noisy, such as in a room with a TV show playing, but this often leads to the VA picking up speech other than my own; often when I've finished my command and waiting for it to start processing.
Is there a way to configure the VA device's central button to be "push to talk", or at least "push to stop listening and start processing" ?
I can see that ESPHome allows such actions: https://esphome.io/components/voice_assistant/#push-to-talk but these aren't exposed to the VA:PE device. I'll open a ticket to request that as a long-term thing.

What i do for this is implement audio ducking. When the device wakes i have it mute all other audio devices in the area while it is listening, and they remained muted until the satellite comes back and finishes it's response. Then it'll unmute them all.
