Device shows up in device list but not automations

I am having issues adding a TP-Link EP10 plug to an automation. I have multiple of them connected that work fine, but recently one got messed up and stopped working. It shows up correctly in the device list, but not as a selectable device in automations. I have another outlet that doesn’t show up in the device list but does show up twice in automations. I’ve tried unadding then re-adding the one outlet from the device list to no avail, as well as relinking them in the Kasa app but no dice. I’m not even sure how to unadd the device that shows up twice in automations cause it doesn’t show up in the device list
