stiff lava
I have a Leviton VRMX1 (very old I must say) that refuses to pair to home assistant even after resetting it multiple times across multiple days. I've paired plenty of other of the same light switches, yet this one refuses to pair. Am I doing something wrong?
The steps I've done are:
- Used a z-wave stick to unpair it
- Pushed the airgap in for 10ish seconds
- Pushed the light switch back into place and wait for the amber light
- Released (amber light goes away - it should keep flashing but doesn't..?)
Then, I factory reset it by holding it down until the blinking red lights go away. After repeating the steps again, it won't pair. I've noticed this switch has very bad documentation with a "pairing remote", but I don't have that and haven't needed it for other light switches.
Looking forward to your reply since I'm about to pull my hair out.
