Hello everyone! I already have a few things I have working with Home Assistant, and my RGB strip on my desk has an IR based RGB controller that now refuses to take inputs from it's remote. So, I figure it's time to replace it with something I can run off Home Assistant. Wi-Fi or Zigbee is acceptable, as I have both available on my HA rig. Recommendations for hardware would be nice!

Look for Quinled controllers, dig-2-go or dig-uno would do well. WLED installed and runs good with home assistant.
https://quinled.info/pre-assembled-boards/ also nice for info/troubleshooting about power, leds, cables etc.
Because of popular demand, for people who don’t want to wait for all the individual components to arrive or can’t/don’t want to do the soldering themselves I have pre-assembled versions of some of my boards! Also, starting in 2021 some pre-assembled boards might have slightly enhanced features above the DIY version boards because of what [...

Athom have some stuff. their products run on opensource firmwares. they have a bunch of controllers/drivers that run WLED and at some which also support ESPHome/Tasmota.
For a little more information, I need something that is basically
Universal Red/Green/Blue (RGB) LED Mini Controller & Dimmer with on board buttons can control any 12VDC RGB LED products. 20 static color modes with dimming controls and 19 dynamic color-changing modes with Speed controls. Maximum load is 4 Amps per channel - 12 Amps total. 4-pin RGB pigtail connector included.
This, but HA compatible
THIS should work, although its got a slightly lower current rating. but that being an issues depends on your led strip setup i guess.

Due to U.S. tariff increases, despite our best efforts to absorb rising costs, a slight price adjustment is necessary. We hope our U.S. buyers understand and support this change. Thank you. It’s a single strip, idk what voltage. But also that connector doesn’t look right for my LEDs.
I have a ESPHome version of that but WLED is probably easier for most applications.

i had to make this for my dodgy cheap led strip 😛
Yeah, I need that white end.
