I just installed Home Assistant OS on a Pie but I'm unsure about what kind of devices I should manage with it. Can you tell me if it supports all IoT devices natively supported or at least with a plug-in. Or sent me the link of a source online that gives them. Thank you very much!

This has nothing to do with automations, please find better channel for your question.

But to find list of devices, you can have them under home assistant integrations list. Then, when devices are zigbee based, ZHA or Z2M ecosystem can give you list of supporte zigbee devices further.

I usually go opposite way, i search what I need (thermostat, buttons, lights, ...) and then I check if it supports HA

#

or if there is a way to have it inside HA

#

if yes, I will buy it, if the rest fits

#

for example I wanted smart speakers for home to play music, and requirement was home assistant. Sonos was a good match

#

Lights I use Philips Hue

#

both devices are natively found by HA as soon as you put them under same network and subnet

Yeah what do you do is correct but i found out about HA just yesterday so that's why I ask

I don't know about this site, but I usually before I buy, I simply google "product home assistant" and usually find some integrations or discussion.

Generally, MANY MANY MAAAANY devices have support for home assistant in one way or another
