#Third Reality Zigbee Switches Turning Off?

Has anyone had issues with Third Reality zigbee switches turning off and on where there is a firmware update or home assistant reboots?

I have one of my switches that I am using for power monitoring of my PS5. I have automations set up to power on or off my TV setup based off the power reading. I turned the switch on, and then disabled it in HA so it always stays on.

It seems like restarting Home Assistant or Firmware updates turn off the switch. I did not initiate a firmware update yesterday, so not sure why it would be turning off.

Yes when an update is there, the plug goes off/offline. I have 18 of those and take some time, and each and every one makes the device powerless for a minute.

I also am not home when this happened. So it's very possible I could've just had a brownout, and all my devices turned off for a brief moment. That would explain why HAOS randomly rebooted

No idea. Happend also to me and shutdown server during update..

The Third Reality power plugs are good quality.

I just experienced this and my plugs didn't actually turn off. Since they all say Firmware and not just the device name I can only assume it's a reboot of the zigbee part of the device, not a change in the device itself.

One thing I will note is that it's only my single outlet plugs that show firmware turned off. None of the dual plugs are listed. I think it's because the dual plugs show the Firmware entity as Unknown. Device info does show a Firmware version and I know I was able to update it OTA, although there might not have been a notification.

I did run into the plug actually turning off when I did a firmware update but that was before I changed the start up state to On. I haven't done an update since so it remains to be seen what will happen.

I use some smartplugs with power metering but no relay for stuff like the fridge, that I don't want to be off at any time. No relay, no possibility of going off 😉

Right now I'm trying to figure out why my plug is showing as connected and online but entities are unavailable.
