Should I be using Z-wave Long Range, or just regular Z-wave Plug mesh?

I got a bunch of Zooz switches I will be setting up and just migrated my 10 Zwave devices to the ZWA-2.

Is there a reason I should be choosing one protocol or the other for a regular home environment with maybe 30ish Z wave devices?

The ZWA-2 product page FAQ section does cover this a bit but I think the conventional wisdom is probably to use LR and if you have a problem then look at a mesh.

Ah thanks! I have been looking through all the docs, but didn't read down the product page ha.

And one other question if you have any insight. Can I switch from mesh to LR protocol or do I need to exclude and reinterview as a "new" device?
