Hey guys! Hopefully this is the right channel. I'm looking for a smart thermostat, preferably one that doesn't have cloud connectivity. I've seen a lot of users recommending the Honeywell T6. Is the TH6320ZW2007 still a good option, even though it's a bit "older?"

I have a T9 that is4-5 years old. It uses wifi and connects to Ha via homekit. And while it talks to Resideo cloud, it isn't required for control.

I've found the T6 on Ebay for like $30 each. I'm thinking it's probably worth getting. If it doesn't work for my HA needs, I've still spent less than what I'm looking at for a new "dumb" thermostat that does secondary heat.

I've bought cheapo old zwave thermostats on ebay twice and both times it's been great.

Never heard anything bad about a T6

I'm thinking there probably isn't much of a downside to giving them a try at like $30 a pop.
