#Scene vs Automation? Blueprints?

Hey! Just got several Zooz Scene controller switches and a little confused. When in the device settings/config there is options to setup scene and automations. I want a button on the switch to turn on a smart bulb that isn't physically wired to the switch.

I understand from reading I should create an automation for this and that is working fine. But can someone explain to me what a Scene is for then? Is it just like a way to setup multiple things to a certain state, and then I have to use an automation to trigger that?

It just seems like each switch is going to have like 20 automations and I feel like I am setting it up wrong.

Also what are blueprints and should I be using them?

Blueprints are Automations or Scripts or Templates that other community members contribute to help you do something.
Scenes are a way to store or recall the state of lights, switches, etc.
