I'm looking to make a radio available for my HA LXC hosted on my nuc cluster.

Looking to support zigbee/thread (looks like zwave has lost market share)

POE powered.

Doesn't need to phone outside the lan in it's lifetime.

Right now I'm considering the SONOF Dongle Max. recommended here

I want the ZBT-2, but it doesn't have a network jack.

Looks like I may be able to do it as described in https://community.home-assistant.io/t/connect-zwa-2-anywhere-use-z-wave-over-wi-fi-or-poe/940021
I'd love some conformation that it will work for the ZBT2 as well as the ZWA

I bought a SLZB-06 because of this. Works fine. Just the external board you need costs almost as much as the whole coordinator and you also need to tinker with it and it's still experimental. You have a HA cluster to have reliability, no? Also this seems to be Z-Wave specific, not zigbee.

I wouldn't know. I have routers all over the place.
