Can you provide more details on what you're looking to do and how you're looking to interact. The Jellyfin integration already has a facility to search and play media.

i wanna tell it to play a show via assistant and then it pull it up

i wanna tell it to play a show and then have it play from the currently watching episode or start the first episode if i have not started it

is there a way to set it up with Alexa (port forwarded with tailscale funnel) if i need to for custom commands
