Hey everyone, New to home assistant and migrating from a alexa based smart home. Already have the Home assistant green connected and still setting up, but im torn between using the ZBT-2 antennae for zigbee or thread. The real question im here for is, If i buy 2 ZBT-2 anntenne, can i run both simultaniously? like one for thread, the other for zigbee. or is the limitation on the home assistant green not the antennae. thanks again!

You can run two
Yes, you can use both radios simultaneously, but you have to plan your channels. Both technologies use the same frequency band as Bluetooth and 2.4GHz WiFi.

ZigBee transmits on the same part of the 2.4 GHz spectrum as Wi-Fi, and when both protocols are transmitting at the same time, it causes interference that can damage the quality of the Zigbee signal. In this lesson, we’ll cover how to design a network for Wi-Fi and Zigbee to peacefully coexist.
The channel scheme used by Zigbee and Thread is the same.
