Hello,
Can anyone recommend any indoor camera, that can be nicely supported by HA, have motion sensor to save battery life and support some local video stream technology?
(Not through tuya or other vendor servers)

I've been using for some time already cheap Tuya based doorbell camera which I would like to get rid off and switch to fully private solution.
The reason for having it battery operated is the fact that I want to place it in my apartment in a corridor, and there's no nearby power outlet ๐Ÿ™
Would be great if it cost less than $100

PoE could be option here.

in general battery powered devices don't directly integrate very well as they are limited to reduce power consumption.

that said, you could look at reolink stuff. in general their stuff integrates well but thats mostly the wired stufff.

however some of their battery stuff can be integrated if you also have their NVR. the camera talks to the NVR in a proprietary low power method and you then integrate with the NVR.

go wired if you can, be it mains or PoE.

Thank you for suggesting reolink I was looking at it but still need no cables ๐Ÿ™

#

I was suspecting that this (no cables) might be a dealbreaker and I need to accept that requirement (Rule #1 dont argue with wife requirments) ๐Ÿ™

necessary for wife's safety..

or explain that the cat cable is not a cable, but a conduit for wifi

Necessary compromises. Anyway , thank you for confirming my suspicion ๐Ÿ™‚ (I was looking for something for few months already)
