Cannot adjust energy sensor statistics | Home Assistant | Page 1

Usually when I have data missing I can just go to this sensor's statistics under dev tools and update it with the correct values.
However I have 3 days with no data at all, for any times, so I cannot do that, see image.
How can I add just one entry with that day's correct value?

Would setting the Max sub-interval force an entry that can be modified if this happens again in the future?

No that wouldn't affect that.

Statistics should record a record even if the entity is unchanged on a regular interval

AFAIK the only reason you'd have nothing is if HA is off or the entity is unavailable.

yup my shelly failed hence it turned to unavailable

there really should be some auto logging 0 values even if that happens (only for selectable sensors ofc)
