#Energy graph for untracked consumption showing as negative
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Also two of my Shelly Pro EM-50 CT Clamps on the two Air conditioners are showing negative consumption when the ac is turned off. (They show positive when the AC is switched on)
First is the result of all individual devices reporting more then your grid meter. Had a dip in the grid meter?
Second issue, try a calibration.
My Shelly’s do have a very poor wifi signal from the meter box could that be causing the issue
Do you use life time sensors for the energy?
Shelly Devices —> Energy Sensors don’t reset daily and accumulates
Tesla Powerwall via Teslemetry —> Energy Sensors Reset Daily
If you use life time sensors then you should not miss anything. Best to use life time sensors if you have them. It is only possible that some consumption is moved to the next hour because it was offline. So might be that there was some battery charge registered in the wrong hour if it was offline. And thus counted as "flow out" in the wrong hour thus causing the sum for the self consumption to become negative.
I have the same issue, for some reason my P1 energy tracker was offline for a whole month, and on the day it turned back on it has a huge spike, but in the wrong direction... any tips how to correct this? Because now my yearly average is all messed up for the grid
corrections can be made through developer-tools/statistics
@iron mountain As the spikes are huge, I think it wasn't nicely marked as 'unavailable' in HA. Otherwise it would have returned correctly. So check how it is integrated.
Hi
I am very new to HA, according to the history of the data it just stayed constant over a long time and then spiked upward. But the "delta" was calculated wrong in the sum of the statistics. I don't know how to check for marking 'unavailable' or how to change any of the settings of the integration.
Manually changing the sum in the statistics made my year round consumption show a good value so that is fixed for now. But it would be nice if this stayed of course
