Hello, I have some shelly dimmers and use the Mushroom slider card for the dimmer function. The issue i have i that when the slider is at 50% the light is at full brightness - The slider is small enough as it is, but trying to get the brightness right with only 50% of the bar is a pain. Is there anyway to re-configure the brightness to calibrate to the actual brightness of the light? Thanks,

I was just looking for a slider for a different reason, but maybe this one would work as you can set the min# and max#
Thank you for the suggestion. As they are on my main dashboard I’d rather continue to use mushroom or similar to match all other cards. I’m certain I remember reading a way to do this so hoping someone can suggest
A template light could be used as an intermediary that remaps a brightness range of the original light to 0-100 on the template, though that's not that trivial to setup.
I don't think home assistant can generally calibrate brightness of individual lights
I don't have the same issue that you describe with sliders but I did eventually stop liking them. I went with brightness presets instead. I use custom:button-cards which are very customizable. It wouldn't take much to make them look like Mushroom cards and work them your current design. Let me know if that's something you'd want to explore and I can help if you need it.
I'm not sure if this will be applicable to your brightness issue but you might look at lightener.
Lightener is a Home Assistant integration used to create virtual lights that can control a group of lights. It offers the added benefit of controlling the state (on/off) and brightness level of each light independently.
