#Using Sonos to control HA

Treat them as usual Alexa/Google. Setup HA to expose entities to Alexa or Google Home, and use them. There's no other way.
Out of curiosity, is it possible to use the Home Assistant Preview as a ESPresence beacon?
No, since ESPresence doesn't work with ESPHome devices.. But i guess you can try using it as BLE proxy, so it will be working for Bermuda.
However, voice + BLE can overload the device, so it will be unstable.
yeah I don't think the VPE can also run BLE proxy (currently)
technically yes... but no, In theory could install ESPresence on it but then it would no longer be a voice satellite and would not do anything except be a ESPresence node. and there are cheaper options then a vpe if you just want an extra node 😛
There were some optimizations to Bluetooth stack lately, but still there's too much strain on the radio stack. 🙂
yeah I would tend to agree.
Guys I am creating a llm on my docker mini, and running ha from inside. I have a pair of Sonos era 100's that as we know has microphone and speaker capabilities and they can be connected by Bluetooth. Thoughts on anyone cracking the code on being able to use these features with ha to effectively communicate through ha to the llm?
