I will but this behind the back of the TV pointing at the door to trigger the lights on and off when I leave my office

Hey sorry never responded to you here. Look to get a universal zigbee usb stick instead of the Aqara specific one
if you’re using home assistant OS you can use zigbee2mqtt or ZHA to bring all zigbee devices together
Sonoff has some good zigbee dongles
As for bulbs, I’d also get zigbee bulbs
should be a bit cheaper also

Ah. I don’t think Zigbee bulbs can natively do that
