Hi, apologies in advance if this question has already been asked or if I’m in the wrong channel. I got myself a Raspberry Pi 5 and installed Home Assistant on it. One of the reasons for that was the “AdGuard” add-on, which I also installed. The problem is that it doesn’t seem to be working. Where can I find the AdGuard address that I need to enter into my router? In the “Setup Guide” I only see one address that AdGuard is “listening” on, but in videos I see at least three addresses. I think that’s already a sign that something isn’t working correctly.

EDIT: The address shown in the Setup Guide is 127.0.0.1, and when I enter this on my PC or phone, the devices lose internet access.
EDIT2: Another problem now is that I can’t get HACS installed.
I want to load it as an add-on using ‘Get HACS’, but after rebooting Home Assistant, it doesn’t appear in the store

Home Assistant must have a fixed ip setup.

Then you need to put that adress in the DNS fields of your router DHCP/DNS settings.

Basically, you just need to replace primary and secondary DNS adress in your router, with the ip adress of home assistant.

Yes adguard's address is your HA address. Keep in mind that whenever you reboot the Pi you'll be losing dns resolution (no internet). You'll want to assign HA its own address and its own DNS addresses so it isn't depending on itself (the addon) for DNS.

Okay, I finally managed it — deleting cookies and cache!
I had already assigned a static IP, but it only showed me one DNS address, even though in pictures and videos you can see several, etc.

Another problem now is that I can’t get HACS installed.
I want to load it as an add-on using ‘Get HACS’, but after rebooting Home Assistant, it doesn’t appear in the store.
