Will the new power source history be saved for longer term viewing?

There's nothing new being saved, the short term statistics were always being recorded, the new power view just displays what was already recorded.

Short term stats (5 minute) are only retained as long as your recorder purge history, then they are deleted.
The hourly aggregations stay forever.
