Hi, Is it possible to use local SST and Google Assistant at the same time on android? I don't want to set Home Assistant as my default assistant app because I use Google's built in assistant to interact with my calendar/todo list/etc.

I would like to ideally have different wake words depending on the assistant i want to interact with. Is that possible?

Alternatively, can i use Google's Assistant as a middle man which also handles the speech to text?

Currently I have Whisper running.

Google Assistant and Home Assistant STT on Android?

Of course it's not. How do you imagine breaking into Google's pipeline? It's like asking if you can mix Alexa and HomeKit. Proprietary products are black box.

Okay so here's what I want to do, I want to press and hold the button on the side of my phone and Google assistant pops up like it currently does. I want to add things to my calendar or to-do list or whatever like I normally do. But I also want to say turn off all my lights on the first floor, and it sends that to home assistant which processes and handles that command.

The issue is I'm very heavily using Google assistant already to interact with things like my calendar or to-do list. I cannot replace that with the home assistant feature, so I either need home assistant voice commands to go to my Google calendar, or Google assistant voice commands to go to home assistant.

Sorry maybe I'm doing a terrible job describing this.

There are some apps that do it (basically making your device voice satellite), but that's different thing.

On your use case: guess your best bet is to expose entities you want from HA to Google with NabuCasa. Then you would be able to manage them with Google Assistant, and Home Assistant would be just a hub (and automation platform, if you want).
