Quick question for which i wasnt able to find an answer for: is it useful to enable the ‘most secure’ option when using the cloudflared addon?

This feature exist to protect non-https URLs, such as your local IP, if you have your IP configured as internal URL, most secure will protect it and only connect when you are in the home network defined in the app.
If you only use the cloudflare URL, this feature is not relevant for you.

Okay thank you for the in depth answer. Follow up question: the app already knows my location and thus when im home. By choosing the ‘less secure’ option, will the app also stop knowing when im home? The option seems to infer this.

No, less secure and most secure uses only the location permission to access your home network information (SSID), GPS information itself is unrelated.
