I know I'll need injectors, this is a bit of a test until I get some cables run in my home.

those are good cams, supported in haos and running flawless with excellent AI detection. Fully local, no cloud needed. In short: Good choice.

#

Be aware that 2-way audio does not work in haos in general.

I'm not worried about 2-way so that's fine. I'm mostly interested if I have any cute critters coming by than security

#

I guess I will need to buy a couple of injectors too

AI detection for vehicles, animals and persons. Maybe a small Poe switch would help here. a small 5 port PoE switch would do fine

e.g. Netgear GS305P

I'm setting up cabling for other stuff, so I'll have the network unpowered and just inject before it pops outside. Now where did I put the really big drill... I don't have any hardware yet but I've been looking at a cheap 2nd hand card as my NAS has plenty of spare PCIe slots

a big drill you need 😉

I have a 240V rat-tail but this is a British Victorian Terrace so I can probably use a dull spoon

Using a poe switch behind normal router/switch would take away the needs for the power injectors though
