Too bad the + and - buttons disappeared. On mobile, adjusting a slider is a pain in the *ss, even more when the max slider value can make the house rumble. I know I can set-up buttons but it was truely useful, not sure why they popped (although there is still space to bring them back).

Agreed, we have acknowledge this and colleague of mine has some design patterns ready to improve this. It is based on what Music Assistant and other streaming platforms does. He is on PTO and can't join this conversation right now.
