I have an idea for some alerting and usage monitoring for welding gases at a makerspace. To do this, I would ideally need some kind of smart pressure sensor. My searches have only turned up very expensive proprietary add-ons to specific welders, and full industrial solutions. We only have 2 stations with 2 gases each, so these are not worth it. But adding a pressure sensor to the gas lines is definitely in our capability.
Has anyone come across a bit of hardware like this?
