my first foray into security cameras. i thought i was keeping it simple with the c200. seemingly impossible to activate without contacting their servers. my main os is linux, if anyone know how i can set it up without having to connect to them, please advise!

return it and get a reolink that is on the tested list in the documentation instead.
reolink app can provision offline.
some of their stuff can be provisioned without the app too I believe but i am not 100% sure.

thanks for the recommendation. i found it difficult to find straight answers about which hw can be provisioned offline, as well as which work great with ha. i went with tplink as ive had success with flashing custom fw to their other devices like routers .etc. wish there was a simple yet straightforward table of hardware for ha.
im looking for a fiarly simple indoor cam. pan/tilt, motion, speaker/mic. can you recommend an entry level reolink that is relatively on par with the c200? and thanks agin for the reply!
