I just came across this COB LED strip that claims it can change temperature and brighness. All while being a 2-pin power strip. I am a little confused as to both: how are they achieving this, and is there any zigbee controller that could run this?

where does it say the strip is 2 pin?
i would guess that the connector between controller and strip is more than 2 pins
I am judging by all the product pics and the barrel jack
to be fair it does look like a barrel but its hard to tell
maybe some kind of voltage or pwm signal wizardry
Yeaah the problem is I want to control it with zigbee, and well, CCT 2 pin zigbee controllers don't exist, and I feel like PWM would be waaaay to complicated, and voltage already controlls brightness
could always get one and reverse engineer it 😛
Probably gonna go with this one that is properly labeled https://www.amazon.de/-/en/PAUTIX-Strip-Dimmable-Warm-White/dp/B09KV38YRL
yeah, I got some super cheap outdoor rgb strip recently and had to "make an adaptor" after i had to ditch the shitty driver. sometimes getting slightly better is a good idea.
