There was an issue where the W20-UBEA from Sengled dropped connections:

https://github.com/home-assistant/core/issues/117275

There is now a newer firmware available:

https://www.matteralpha.com/sengled/sengled-smart-plug-p116

Can anybody confirm whether the issue still persists?

Hi, welcome..!

#

I have seen nothing about issue resolved, so might wait until other users updated firmware and post their findings. At least, that is what i would do 😉

Info: make sure your internal network is working fine, also mDNS

#

disable multicast filtering or igmp snooping on router can help also..if i'm right

Hi, @winter needle! Thanks for the warm welcome.

I can get one of these plugs locally for €5, so I might get one and try it out. As you mention, other issues might overlay any flakiness of the smart plug, though. So maybe I will not be able to confirm it working even after some tinkering.

Thanks for your tips. I have checked that mDNS works fine in my home network. My Fritz!Box cannot filter multicast traffic. It also shows no IGMP errors, so that should be fine, I guess.
