Hi! I've got an IKEA DIRIGERA which has an Apple Home integration as well as the option to act as a "Matter bridge". I've got a couple of lights, wall plugs and remotes that work great with the IKEA products. I'm wondering if Home Assistant integration would be possible with the IKEA products or do I have to replace my products for matter/thread products instead? If I were to add the DIRIGERA to Home Assistant as a Matter bridge, would I be able to control my products from HA? Or even better, is there any way to get the remotes to do something on the HA-side? I'm a technical person so my first thought was to use a microcontroller or RPi to act as a Matter device, add it to DIRIGERA (in the case that it actually works with other Matter products in the "Matter bridge" mode) and pass the events from the IKEA remote down to HA? I may as well be overcomplicating things but I haven't seen anyone use HA with DIRIGERA. Thanks!

been using Dirigera from the start, first without matter, and later added the option (returning a second entity for each...)
so the answer is yes, it works, and it works perfectly I might add. So much better than the broken Ikea integration. All devices are added, and mine go back a long time, can it be six years already?
well alright, how did you set it up?\😁
if it works with matter that would be great, but setting the DIRIGERA up to HA in any way would be a massive help!
oh dw I got it working, thanks for heading me down the right direction! for reference, it’s really simple actually, just open the IKEA Home smart app, go to the DIRIGERA integrations and enable the Matter bridge. then open the HA companion app on the phone, add a new matter device, copy paste the code from IKEA Home smart and youre good to go
