Hi all, I'm having trouble getting the Aqara Dimmer Switch H2 EU to work with HAOS with Matter over Thread. I've gotten as far as adding the device to HAOS and want to use it to control the state (on/off) and brightness of my smart lights through Matter.
My setup is an Eero Pro 7 router acting as a Thread Border Router, and a TrueNAS server running a VM with HAOS inside.
Since it's a dimmer switch (circular dial with a press for a button), I would have expected the dimmer "level" to show up in the device info as well as the button event? I'm also not sure what "identify (1)" and "identify (2)" does in the configuration. There's a huge diagnostics file from the device on HAOS that I can view, but I'm really not sure what I'm looking at there.
I would have loved to be able to add the device to the Aqara Home app, but that requires one of their Aqara Hubs and won't work with my setup apparently... It looks like I'm missing features like decoupled mode, long press, double press actions, which I know the dimmer switch theoretically supports.
If anyone has any experience or suggestions it would be very helpful.
