I bought a ZBDongle-E that was recommended on the HA page. But when I plug it in, it doesn't seem to work. Has anyone gotten one of these working? Do I need to flash something else on it?

I’m pretty sure it comes preflashed and it should be discovered by HA as well.

Also how are you running HA? Does it involve a VM and usb pass though

I see, I have it running with the HA os on a raspberry pi 5

Give the flasher a try. Is my best suggestion.

Thanks I'll try it out. On windows I needed a driver for it to be recognized. Feels like it should be recognized by default on haos

It should, does it not show up if you look at the full hardware list under settings/system/hardware all hardware
