Hello, I realize some people have already addressed this but I can't seem to find any concrete answers.

I have a SLZB-MR4 connected over POE that I'm trying to utilize for matter devices. I have HAOS installed on a RPI4.

When I try to connect the SLZB in the OTBR configuration I get the message that I'm missing required option 'device.' I see others saying you can choose any of the devices shown in the configuration as a "dummy" device because it will wipe it anyways, but I have no devices listed at all.

I am very new to all of this, I know I have a lot to learn, and if you can point me in the direction of documentation or other answers, I'm more than happy to review them. But going through docs has not been fruitful for me thus far.

Any help would be appreciated.😭

I don't use thread.
I would suggest putting this in a search engine and seeing if it helps answer your question:

site:home-assistant.io OTBR requires a dummy device of some sort,
Also your other [post]

Yea I don't see that as being incoherent or disruptive but as I said that is my opinion. I am just seeking help in a community that is evidently incredibly difficult to get assistance from.

You created 3 posts today in quick succession for exactly the same thing.

I apologize fot that but I am just trying to get assistance and not getting anywhere

The support here is community based. Meaning: someone has to have knowledge about your specific problem and time to get involved.
It is also frustrating for some to try to help when another thread is containing important information or stuff is redundant. Thus: one thread for a problem, not many.

I agree that its frustrating when you post something, and days go by and nobody has responded, and thus they don't see it because its gone down the list. Again, I apologize for creating multiple posts within a two day period. I will give up on this and move on.
