#Response error: 403 when trying to save existing Automations

Its happening to a few automations, nothing has changed since the last time i made any changes. I can't see anything in the logs to indicate why its complaining about the error.
one automation doing it is from a blueprint, one isn't. i've removed /changed all the changable things within the blueprint one and tried again to save, but get the same. I've restarted HA obviously and have tried on a different web browser and also from my mobile phone

any ideas?

the only thing in the log which looks sketchy is

Logger: homeassistant.components.recorder.db_schema
Source: components/recorder/db_schema.py:366
integration: Recorder (documentation, issues)
First occurred: 17:07:58 (18 occurrences)
Last logged: 17:15:23

Event data for call_service exceed maximum size of 32768 bytes. This can cause database performance issues; Event data will not be stored

it increments every time i attempt to save the automation.

Sounds like it's having problems accessing the automations.yaml file.

echo jewel
#

but nothing has changed in any of the automations/blueprints they are using. and i've not updated HA for a week (although i'm not 100% if i have changed any of these automations since then)

Problems will hang in there for months if you don't restart it.

echo jewel
#

so nothing relating to the "length of the event data" will have changed because i've not changed anything.

yes i've restarted fine using the restart HA setting in the settings page. and restarted the container too

#

i think that event data message in the logs is the smoking gun

#

but zero idea why its now a thing when nothing is different

might try ha shell,

#

login

#

ha supervisor repair

#

ha host reboot

local IP address that is

echo jewel

ok, so yes it does appear to work if i access it locally.

#

weird

#

but it doesnt make a difference if incog/browser cache flush

echo jewel
# stuck ledge might try ha shell,

I'm not using supervised/haos... i'm running it in a docker container. as have done for years. never had this issue before though, and afaik, nothing has changed on my proxy

What proxy?

echo jewel

swag

#

but with added openappsec on it, which having had a look around at those logs, it was thinking there was some cross site scripting going on, have whitelisted it and now it seems ok

blissful pulsar
#

but we asked you to directly to check if your problem comes from HA or something external

echo jewel
#

Yes? I know, hence me seeing that when accessed internally when it worked it pointed me in the right direction. the logs didnt seem to give me any indication of where the problem existed.

Unclear what you mean by your reply though to be honest. Can't tell if you're trying to say something and its lost in translation, or if you're being arsey about it. Apologies if its the former.
