The thing you are looking for is .yaml
You can simply place the data into the ui > yaml editor instead of messing with those files directly

That error is normal. The MinimalistUI dashboards cannot be edited with the UI; you have to edit the YAML files directly. Copying & pasting the code into a regular dashboard's RAW configuration won't work either because it relies on configuration templates for the custom:button-cards and the UI editor doesn't allow !includes.
