Are there any linux companion apps with buttons in the taskbar (maybe a bit like hass agent for windows)? I'm experimenting with linux (nixos) and was wondering if anything like that is in development. (I'm not "New to HA", but couldn't find a better tag :p)

That's not the purpose of hass agent on Windows. then you use the browser

I have not looked into this much but is it a replacement for Hass Agent in Windows? It appears to work in Windows from the docs.
