Hi, I've got HA yellow with aeotec Z-stick Gen 5, TP-link bt adapter(UB500) and skyconnect. Yellow is the Poe variant. The issue is that there are two usb-a ports only. I've tried to use usb hub but devices don't seem to work via that. Then I tried usb-c to usb-a and it doesn't work either. Any ideas why this might be the case?

Is it a powered USB hub? The power draw might be to much for the Yellow.
The Yellow's USB-C port is for debugging only, not for attaching peripherals.
passive one
A passive USB hub might overwhelm the USB ports.
also tried usb-c to usb-a and it's straight one-to-one
Yellow C to device A?
yes
That does not work.
The Yellow's USB-C port is for debugging only, not for attaching peripherals.
It is a serial console, not a port for other devices.
kind of strange, skyconnect works on the hub, but not the bt nor z-stick
i bought and connected this one:

and it works like a charm
Unfortunately that is out of reach for me. What devices did you plug to it?
The new zwave controller from nabu casa, one zigbee stick and a evohome hgi80
