#Android 10 device occasionally hangs at grey screen

On a Samsung Note 9. Sometimes the app will hang on a grey screen until the OS states it isn't responding. Once I hit to Close the app, it's successfully killed and it loads like normal. Happens randomly throughout the day. I have uninstalled the app, factory reset the device, and deleted it from HA itself. Only happens to this device. My other Android 15 device is unaffected. Loading through Chrome on the device works fine, and I actually have to do that as a backup when this happens. It is setup in the Samsung OS to not sleep / not deep sleep the app as well. And also, all permissions are allowed for the app.

what version of the app are you using? something similar was happening on my wife's phone but resolved when I upgraded it from 2025.8.7-full to 2025.9.2-full. Even doing this was non-trivial as it seems 2025.9.2 is stuck in Google's review process - I had to sign my wife up to be a Beta Tester for the newer version to be installable.
