Just a note that I noticed that the Tapo SmartThings integration has just added button events. Only tap and double tap, not rotations, but that means you can now trigger automations in HA if you use the SmartThings integration.
Not sure if that’s something that could now be done directly through the built in Tapo integration? Not a programmer - soz!
