Logged off of the app. Tried to log on. Many unsuccessful attempts with wrong pw/id combo.

Eventually remembered the right credentials. But now I’m seeing this.

We couldn’t connect to Home Assistant
Check your connection and try again. If you are not at home please make sure you have configured remote access.

Response status code was unacceptable: 500.

I’m able to log in via my chrome browser using the credentials.

When I go to the Refresh Tokens in the admin tool. I can see them being granted to the iOS app. There are many entries. (I also tried to remove them and then logging in in the app… got the same issue)

The problem got resolved today. Lots of things happened so not sure what fixed it.

  • I updated HA yesterday and it restarted.
  • I recently started a subscription to Nabu Casa and there was an issue connecting remote (this actually was what led me to try to log out of the iOS app to see if that fixes it) But this morning that remote connection was working again.
  • Went into Safari and deleted all browsing data and cookies, etc. Logged into HA in the browser and then clicked on banner to launch iOS App. Was promoted to log in in app and then it worked)
