I have a question about openwakenWord via a Wyoming satellite. I would like to know if it is possible to create a Home Assistant automation so that when the Wyoming satellite recognizes a wake word, it does something. In my case, it would turn down the volume of the media playback so that I can also give voice commands when music is playing.

Check "Assistant" entity in your satellite - it will come to "listening". Use that as an automation trigger.
I'for instance, duck the volume on any playing player in area with that trigger.
thanks for this advice, but i think i tried this already. If i select my wyoming satellite i cant find the trigger option "listening"
Stop using "device" trigger. It's too abstract.
Use "state" trigger, and choose assistant entity.
Alight, "state" triggers are the preferred ones. But i cant find da suitable option in "Assistant"
This "Assistant" i can choose
and if i choose wyoming satellite, there is no option like "wake word detected"
Show me device page for your satellite.
This? Sorry for my late response
Yes.
See that Wyoming Satellite entity in Assist section?
That is the one you base your trigger on.
