#Do I really need a proper RJ45 crimp tool for just 2 connectors?

Or can it be done with flat pliers? From what I see the crimp tool only makes the contacts bite the conductors right?

I'll probably never have to crimp again any time soon, so I'll save money on that if possible.

Buy a toolless rj45 connector they work great!
