Hey. Im 20 years old and some months ago, i lived at home with my parents. I started for the first time, setting up a smart home, it all went great.
I bought an eve door and window sensor (matter) and setup it up in the bathroom, for a lighting automation, back then i setup it up with one of my apple hubs (homepod i think), fast forward to now.
I've moved out, and live by myself, the problem is that they cant use the sensor anymore cause they dont have an apple hub.
I've done some research and, to my knowledge i can buy a Home assistant Sky-connect, and setup it up with their home assistant, for the sensor to work.
Is that true?
(The main reason, im asking is, that a couple of times, i haven't done enough research or have been mislead on the internet, plus that im not sure, cause i dont know that much about zigbee, thread and only a few things about matter.
And just to be sure, i am able to use it with the home assistant green, right?
