I'm trying to create a thread network for some locks. I already have a Sonoff Zigbee Dongle working with HA. I added the HA Connect device to the docker container in the same way I added the Sonoff dongle. When I restart HA there are no errors but the HA Connect is not recognized. Not sure where to start with troubleshooting.

Please share your compose file. There is usually no need to modify it to give it a device if you followed the instructions. Just make sure you use /dev/serial/by-id/....

i'm on unraid, so no docker-compose. here's the config though:
the sonoff has been working fine for a couple years

Hmm. Not sure how unraid deals with things but the paths look okay at least.

set up HAOS to try to resolve this as all the support forums I found claimed it was much easier to set up thread/matter
